Mild communication issues but very solid reasonably priced property. Positive: 1. I really appreciated the common area and things like the coffee machine. 2. The bed was large and had appropriate linen. 3. Despite some communication frustrations, I was very pleased with the quality of the property itself such as its cleanliness, the large bed, and well-functioning shower. 4. The location was close to the subway station and the walk was convenient. Negative: 1. The initial instructions were unnecessarily complicated. Specifically, instructions made it seem like I would be staying at an undefined location rather than at the address of the property. In the end, the address was the same, but this produced unnecessary frustration. 2. The property is too reliant on communication via WhatsApp. International travelers do not have regular internet access in the US and cannot be expected to carry mobile phones all the time to talk to the property owners. Given that we are using Booking.com to make the booking, it seems only fair to use Booking.com messaging for communication. 3. The shoe rule was a little absurd as you need to remove the shoes and then carry them into your room instead of leaving them at the entrance door, as is conventional.

Positive: It was very clean and cozy. Negative: Guests should be allowed to cook. We already have to purchase our own food and pay for the stay, so we should be allowed to prepare our meals as well.
